If you have come here from Krista Hershberger’s blog, you are on the right path! When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

I had such a hard time choosing which product to use this week. Partly because both are such incredible products, but mostly because my fall decorations have been sitting in a box in my living room for two weeks and I cannot even contemplate anything that involves Christmas. Yes, ladies, my life in a nutshell. (The squirrels are forever scattered and chased.)

So this week, I chose to avoid Christmas, continue to play with fall papers, and use the delightful Love with All the Trimming stamp set to create this cheerful “Lots of Love” card that I plan on sending out for an upcoming anniversary.

The background for this card is a PML in the Hello Pumpkin paper pack. I took advantage of those little stars and hearts that were already there and strategically placed my other items to cover “Happy Halloween”. The remaining embellishments came from the package of Hello Pumpkin Complements.

Remember how I said I wasn’t ready for Christmas? Well, using a stamp set full of Christmas-y sentiments was a bit of a challenge, but I realized that the “with Lots of Love” sentiment paired with those darling little hearts could be used for any occasion .

That sweet sentiment was placed onto a piece of our NEW Seasonal Mix-Ins and shaded with a Black Shimmer Brush.  I enjoy having this additional paper pack to use on my projects and it blends beautifully with all of our other seasonal papers.

I know that many of you may have expected a Christmas-y card or at least something that said “Happy Holidays”, but my brain cannot even think about tidings, or stockings, or figgy pudding for another month. I hope that you still enjoyed my little paper crafting creations, and continue through the blog hop to see more ideas from a few other Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using products from our Holiday Sparkle and Season of Joy collections.
