Throughout the month of January, I will be creating projects that you can make using our Bloom and Grow stamp of the month. This week, I created some delightful little wedding favor labels that attach to vellum seed envelopes. These would be also be perfect for a baby shower, bridal shower, or a Valentine’s Day gift. You can find the list of supplies used on this project at the very bottom of this post.
Here are a few tips for using the writing feature in Cricut® Design Space:
- Use the FILTER feature in the Text Edit Bar to find fonts that you own and will work with the writing feature.
- You can use some System Fonts as Writing fonts. Once you have typed the letters in the text box, go to your Layers Panel and choose the “Cut (scissors)” icon, then change the layer to a WRITE Layer in the Layer Attributes panel. Your font will become outlined with some fonts, as mine was, but the finished size was so small it filled itself in as it wrote.
- You can pick multiple pen colors in one project. While the text is selected, click on the INK BLOT and choose the Pen Color desired. As your machine writes, it will prompt you to change pen colors.
Remember, the Bloom and Grow stamp set is only available until January 31st! Visit the Promotions tab my website to see how you can get this stamp set for only $5.00. Visit my blog each week for more ideas and tutorials. I can’t wait to see what you create!
