No Worries Retirement Card

Each week, I am challenged to create something new, and often, I try to maximize my efforts.  For this weeks Color My Heart Color Dare, I found the perfect color combination for one of my upcoming Inked Background Workshop cards.   Our Sapphire, Glacier, New England Ivy, White Daisy and Desert Sand Ink colors were a perfect combination to create this Oceanside scene for a retirement card.  Can’t you just picture yourself spending the rest of your days on this beach?

InkedBackgroundRetirementCard

This card is part of my No Worries Inked Background Card Workshop which you can attend in July.   If you are one of my long-distance followers, you can purchase the Workshop Guide and follow the detailed instructions to recreate these relaxing scenes using our inks and sponging techniques.

This card uses our No Worries papers, which I had found to be one of the best paper packs to create with. You can find a list of the remaining supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of this post. Please feel free to ask questions about the card, my upcoming workshop, and the products used on this card.

Here’s a Quick Tip  when using our inks and sponges.  I have found that it works best to cut our Round Sponge into sixths, then attach one end of the sponge into a Binder Clip.  I have each of mine labeled with the color name on the top of the Binder Clip and they all fit into bin on my desk.  This keeps my hands a little cleaner and prevents my ink pads from getting contaminated with other colors.
