Valentine’s Day allows us to show others how much we care, and this simple Valentine’s Kisses Box will allow you to do that without breaking the bank. By following the instructions below, you can make FOUR of these simple, treat boxes from one sheet of cardstock. The added bonus to this project is that the True Love stamp set supports Operation Smile. (Another way to show you care.) At the very bottom of this post, I’ve included a list of the products I’ve used to create this project.
Paper Needed: 5″ x 4¼” Cardstock (I used Blossom), 1½” x 4½” Cardstock (I used Raspberry), 2½” x 3″ Window Sheet, 2″ x 3″ White Daisy Cardstock
Assembly Instructions:
1. With the 5″ side at the top, use the scoring blade of the paper cutter to score the
5″ x 4¼” piece of cardstock at 1¼”, 2½”, and 3¾”.
3. Fold the 5″ x 4¼” piece of cardstock in half along the score line, and center a 2″ acrylic block ½” down from the fold. Trace the block and cut out the window.
4. With the 2½” side at the top, use the scoring blade of the paper cutter to score the window sheet at 1¼”. (Note: I use old Cricut mat covers as window sheets.)
5. Fold the window sheet in half along the score line and use a bone folder to create a crease. Using Glue Dots, adhere the window sheet to the inside of the cutout matching the crease with the score line.
6. Using Raspberry Ink, stamp the “XOXO” sentiment onto the right side below the window on the outside of the box.
7. Lay the 5″ x 4¼” cardstock flat so that the inside of the box faces up and the sentiment is at the top (facing down). Using Glue Dots, adhere 5 pieces of candy to the bottom flap inside the box.
8. Fold the top over the candy and adhere the bottom flaps of the box together to close.
9. Attach the triangle box to the 1½” x 4½” base.
10. Using Black Memento Ink, stamp the Girl image on the White Daisy cardstock. Color the image with ShinHan markers, then cut out the image. Attach the image to the front of the box using Thin 3D Foam tape.
